Every housewife knows how hard is to bring back white to your white socks, that’s why we’ve thought to share some great cleaning hacks to ease your job. And you only need a few ingredients from your pantry.

Method 1 – Boil socks in lemon water
To get rid of dirt out of your white socks, you need a big pot filled half with water. Put it to boil with 2 lemons cut in slices. Put the dirty socks in lemon water and boil them for a few minutes. Remove them with a knife, and then wash them with water and detergent. It should look like new, but if the dirt persists, you have to repeat the process.

Method 2 – Use Himalayan salt or baking soda
With one evening before doing the laundry, soak the socks in a basin with cold water and add 3 tablespoons of Himalayan salt or baking soda. You can also add baking soda in your laundry detergent. The stains will disappear and the whites will be white.

On the other hand, you can make a paste of water and baking soda. Apply it on the stains and let it work, then you can put them in the washing machine.

Method 3 – Hydrogen peroxide in 3% concentration
The third method that we propose is one that involves the use of hydrogen peroxide. It is recommended to use hydrogen peroxide in a 3% concentration. All you have to do is add half a cup of hydrogen peroxide to every wash, along with the laundry detergent. Using this method, the effect should be visible instantly. Attention: hydrogen peroxide does not contain chlorine.
