Grease will always find a way to stick to the toughest surfaces. If you have painted walls, you know very well what we are talking about, especially grease stuck on walls around the stove area. So, learn to clean these annoying grease stains from your kitchen walls with the following homemade solutions.

Vinegar removes old grease
If you have old grease stains on the painted walls, white vinegar is your best ally in getting rid of them. Although it is called washable paint, this type of paint doesn’t allow washing with very aggressive detergents because you risk ruining the color intensity or even leaving stains very hard to repair on the walls.
Prepare a mixture in equal proportion of white vinegar and water, and then rub the walls gently then immediately wipe them with a dry cloth, because if you let the solution to dry by itself, you risk leaving unsightly stains.

Baking soda does wonders with oil recently reached on the walls
If grease stains aren’t old, a paste made from baking soda and water does wonders. Apply a thick layer of baking soda paste over the oil splashes from the washable paint and leave it to dry completely. Gently cleanse the baking soda crust and the grease will be removed completely.

For wallpaper, you need starch
If you have wallpaper in the kitchen then you can apply a paste of corn starch and water. Leave the starch paste to dry and the grease will easily be removed from the wallpaper.
