The ingredients you need to clean the burned-on food from a saucepan are most likely in your kitchen:
– 1 cup of white vinegar
– 2 tablespoons of baking soda
– 1 cup of water (or one and a half, depending on the size of your pan).
First, pour a cup of water in the saucepan to fully cover its bottom with a thin layer of water. Then add one cup of vinegar.
Put the saucepan on medium heat until the water begins to boil. Turn off the heat and add baking soda over – foam will result!
Leave it so a few minutes. Let the saucepan to cool a little then you can wash in the sink as usual. You’ll notice that the burned-on food is removed easily with the sponge.
If there’s any little burning remained on the saucepan, then you can make a solution of one teaspoon of baking soda and one teaspoon of water. Clean the stains as follows: cover the stain with this solution and let it act a few minutes. Then wash the saucepan as normal.
You can use the same trick for burned pots also!
