Not to mention that if your kids wet the bed, the situation gets worse. But you should know that there’s a quick method you can use easily to get rid of that moldy smell out of your mattress.

The fastest way to get rid of the nasty smell
You need:
- steam cleaner
- baking soda
First, open the window and use the steam cleaner. Clean very well the mattress with the steamer and insist on the stained areas to soften them well.
Then, sprinkle a generous layer of baking soda and don’t be greedy…sprinkle enough baking soda to cover the entire surface of the mattress. Now, let the baking powder to do its job for 3 hours, at least.
After the time elapsed, vacuum the baking soda and use the steam cleaner again. It’s advisable to let the mattress dry for 2-3 days.
Your mattress will look like new without any freaky smell or stain!
