Damp, mold and dirt are not allowed to stay on the walls of your house. To remove mold, it’s necessary to use chemicals. Or not! That’s what granny told me! If you didn’t know, mold and damp can be easily removed with salt – the best non-chemical way ever! And super effective, too!
Salt to remove mold on walls
Salt is the best ally against mold because it absorbs it and creates protection against the growth of microorganisms. In addition, salt has been used for years to clean the lots of surfaces from the house, acting as a great natural disinfectant.
How to use?
Put 2 tablespoons of salt in a bowl, and then put the bowl in the corner affected by mold. You will notice how salt will darken after some time – this is the clue that the mold has been absorbed by salt.
If the mold hasn’t been gone completely from your walls, then you can use apple cider vinegar as it follows:
Pour 250 ml of apple cider vinegar in the same amount of water. Put the solution obtained in a spray bottle. Spray all over the affected wall, and let it act for 20 minutes. After that, wipe the area with a clean cloth.
