it’s basically impossible being careful not staining the oven when you are cooking. Grease stains will get over the oven’s walls and oven’s door. As a housewife, I can say that cleaning the inside of the oven may be difficult, but cleaning the oven’s door is even more difficult. No matter which cleaning product you use, the grease will spread over the oven’s glass door. Clean that now!
But, one day when I was home alone, I said: this is the moment when that glass door will look like new.
So, I took some screwdrivers, and I disassembled the oven’s door and removed the glass.
How to clean the oven’s glass door
Leave the glass door to soak for a few minutes in hot water, and then spray Windex and lemon juice on both sides, enough to cover the whole glass.
Put the glass in a clean household bag and wait a few hours for the fat deposits to soften.
After 3 or 4 hours, you will see that all the grease has melted and the glass can be easily cleaned with any glass cleaner is available to you.
Clean the enamel oven’s door with baking powder
Now, it’s simple! Prepare a thick paste made of baking soda and hot water, and spread the paste over the oven’s door, and you can also spread it inside the oven. Let it act for a few hours, then use a dish sponge and dish soap to remove all the grease.
Within a few minutes, with minimal effort, the door is clean and you can put the glass back to the oven door.
Even if you can’t disassemble the oven door, baking soda is the number one grease remover, especially when it comes to cleaning the oven.
