Cleaning the textile upholstery
It easily gets dirty, especially on the arm support, and even a small water drop can transform into a big stain. Textile upholstery is less resistant and should be cleaned more often, but it has its beauty and elegance. Here are some simple solutions to remove stains from textile upholstery and maintain its new aspect longer.
Use mine salt
Moisten 2-3 handful of mine salt with water and scatter the wet salt with a white cloth over the entire surface of the upholstery. Then rub softly with a soft brush for a few minutes. After rubbing, vacuum the salt from the upholstery. The salt will collect dust and revive the colors of the upholstery.
Vinegar for more vivid colors
Dilute a cup of vinegar with 2 liters of water and use this solution to gently rub the textile upholstery after vacuuming it. For quicker results, use a piece of lace to rub the sofa, instead of a brush. Open the windows wide and let the upholstery dry thoroughly before sitting back on the couch.
Ammonia for difficult stains
Coffee, wine, beer, or other difficult stains on the sofa should be cleaned immediately with a solution made of water and ammonia. If there are older stains, and you can’t remove them, use a chemical solution.
