Every woman knows that it comes a time when you have to clean the purse both inside and outside, because it gets dirty very fast. And if you have a designer one, I’m sure that you want to extend its life by cleaning and caring it!

Ladies, you have to know that there are a few simple tricks to clean your dirty bags and purses.

For purses with mild stains, apply vodka or rubbing alcohol on a cotton bud and rub the stain gently. Also, rub the metallic parts of the purse because it gets a black shade.

If your purse is stained with ink or marker traces, use a solution made of equal parts of vinegar and rubbing alcohol.

Oil stains can be removed very easily with a mixture of 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of starch. Mix these ingredients and apply on the stain. Let it work until the oil is absorbed by this powder.

Remember: if your leather purse gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature. Don’t use heat (like hair dryer) because you will deteriorate the material. If the purse is made of suede, you can dry it with a cotton towel.
